The conference was moderated by Attila Gidó. The first lecture was given by Enikő Orsolya Nagyi, who spoke about the economic plundering of the Jews of Northern Transylvania between 1940 and 1944. In her presentation, she mentioned several large entrepreneurs and industrialists of Jewish origin who were victims of the deportations in 1944. The next lecture was given by Mátyás Király. Mr. Király represented the MAZSIHISZ project partner at the event. He presented graffiti and inscriptions engraved by ghettoised Jews on the bricks of buildings in the ghettos. In the third lecture, Attila Gidó spoke about the archival documents containing the names of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust in Northern Transylvania. Also on a similar topic were presentations by György Diamantstein and Vasile Dub. Gábor Ádám spoke about how Holocaust databases and archival documents available on the internet can be used in genealogical research. The event ended with a closing remark by Andrea Ghița. Ms. Ghița shared her research experiences in conducting oral history interviews with survivors.
