On the evening of November 6, 2024, Mr. Silviu Vexler, the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania, was the guest of the Jewish Community in Târgu Mureș. The discussions focused on the upcoming parliamentary elections, the situation of communities across the country, and the possibility of renovating the city's Status quo ante synagogue. The president demonstrated true diplomatic qualities, promising nothing but leaving hope slightly open for the realization of this community desire.
