As every year in the month of May, we commemorate our family members who perished in the Holocaust. We lit candles and read the names of the parents and relatives of those still alive. But this year, there was more, as we moved from the synagogue to the former Jewish Cultural Centre (now the Ariel Youth and Children's Theatre), where, after a short presentation by the President of the Community, László Dub, and a speech by the host, Dániel Szabó, the director, we were treated to an unique documentary film „Ahogy az óra jár După cum bate ceasul". Zoltán Fecső's film, as he himself said before the screening, commemorates the Jews of Odorheiu Secuiesc, following step by step their life and especially their journey to death from the Szekler town through the ghetto of Târgu Mures to Auschwitz. Although there are many such films, it was unique, painful, moving and shocking. THANK YOU Zoltán Fecső !!!
