Day of the world cultural heritage

With the occasion of the second edition of the World Monuments Day, and thanks to the initiative of the museologist Orbán János, the events of this year were focused  around the Jewish architecture of Tärgu Mures , from the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.  The two days, the 12th and 13th of April included the presentation of the the history and architecture of the two synagogues of the city (presented by art historian Földi Imelga) , the influence of the Jews on the development of Targu Mures at the change of centuries (presented by Sebestyén Spielman Mihály) , view of the city center and the Kossuth street where most of the Jews lived ( leaded by Oniga Erika and Orbán János) , visits at the Jewish cemetery and the Jewish museum (presented by the representative of the Jewish community , György Diamantstein).  We thank Mr. Orbán János for this special weekend full of activities!!!
